L’ÉPÉE 1839 - Sherman Limited Edition Hand-Wound Palladium-Plated Table Clock, Ref. No. 76.6001/101 - Silver

by L’ÉPÉE
MB&F's Mr Maximilian Büsser realised his childhood dream of creating a robot friend by harnessing the expertise of L’Epée 1839 for this limited edition 'Sherman' table clock, its name references the prolific M4 Sherman tank operated by the USA during World War II. Small but perfectly formed, this palladium-plated timepiece is crafted with Geneva wave, polish and sandblast finishes and topped with a mineral glass dome where a ticking clock regulator represents Sherman's brain at work. The skeleton is built from movement plates, bridges and an open hour and minute dial at the chest, powered by a calibre 1853 SK2 hand-wound movement. Configurable hands steady the frame as it manoeuvres the rugged terrain of a desk on rubber caterpillar tracks. We offer a two-year warranty for all working parts and manufacturing faults for luxury clocks. For more information, contact one of our experts by emailing watches@mrporter.com "
