When we received a rubber fish by way of invitation to Paul Smith 's seaside-themed SS18 show, we weren't entirely sure what to expect. But, as usual, the designer was able to balance playful prints with more polished pieces. These shorts fall into the latter category. They're smartly tailored from crisp cotton and linen-blend and tie with a drawstring that gathers at the waist - the cut looks cool with a tucked-in T-shirt.
