Montblanc - Writers Edition Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Resin and Platinum-Plated Fountain Pen

Made in limited quantities, Montblanc's 'Writers Edition' fountain pen is a tribute to the works of the prolific Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It's been crafted in Germany from blue-grey resin that represents foggy London days and has a cap and barrel detailed with a historic city map and plaid pattern that nods to Sherlock Holmes' coat. The initials of Mr Joseph Bell, the real man the character was inspired by, sit beneath the magnifying glass-shaped PVD-coated clip. Finally, the platinum-plated tip is engraved with flying dinosaurs from The Lost World , the first of the author's Challenger stories.
