Developed alongside French deep-sea diving company COMEX and the US Navy during the late 60s, the 'Sea-Dweller' is Rolex's ultimate diving watch. The 'Deepsea' was eventually unveiled in 2008 and was the result of decades of collaboration with diving professionals. Later, in 2014, a special edition 'Deepsea' was released with a D-blue dial to commemorate Mr James Cameron's historic solo dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, roughly 11, 000 metres deep. Featuring a Cerachrom bezel in black ceramic and an Oyster bracelet, this watch is, rather fittingly, waterproof to 3, 900 metres with a unidirectional 60-minute rotatable bezel. The 'Deepsea' remains to this day, one of the most resistant divers' watches around for deep-sea exploration.
