Thanks to the legendary Enzo Ferrari's love of fine watches, the Ferrari brand has appeared on many different timepieces over the years, but it has only had four official haute horlogerie partners to date, and the first and longest of these, setting the trend, was Girard Perregaux back in the 1990s. The deal was forged between close friends who happened to be the respective presidents of GP and Ferrari, and lasted for a decade. This particularly lovely limited edition piece, with its bold design, stunning carbon dial and automatic Swiss movement, was made to commemorate Ferrari's incredible double victory in the 2001 F1. The caseback features an engraving of the winning car.
