The 'Nautilus', designed by the legendary Mr Gérald Genta and released in 1976, is one of the most distinctive watches around, with its rounded octagonal bezel. Until its release, Patek Philippe had been primarily known for its precious-metal dress watches, and then came this chunky all-steel sports model that took the industry unawares. It wasn't an immediate success but has become one of the brand's most prominent models. This version was recently discontinued, adding to its collectability, and features a blue and black horizontally embossed dial with gold applied baton markers and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. The steel integrated strap is as distinctive as the rest of the watch, while the transparent case back reveals a self-winding calibre whose rotor is engraved with the Calatrava cross. Pre-owned watches have a 24-month warranty from Watchfinder & Co. in conjunction with any remaining manufacturer’s warranty. All pre-owned watches are also meticulously inspected by Watchfinder & Co. in-house experts and come with a letter of authenticity.
