Only 388 editions of Bremont's automatic watch have been made, paying tribute to Mr Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time ; which was published in 1988. Crafted from stainless steel, the case back is inlaid with four wooden discs from the professor's desk, where he pondered his most historical works. They sit alongside a fragment of meteorite, numbered manuscript paper and an engraved star map of the night sky in Oxford, England on the date of his birth.
