Introduced in 2016 as a replacement to Rolex's previous 'Datejust II' model, the 'Datejust 41' offers a similar reference but with a more modern appeal. The 'Datejust' was launched in 1945 to celebrate the brand's 40th birthday and it was the first automatic wristwatch to feature a date window, with a cyclops lens added in 1955 for better visibility. One of the brand's most distinctive models, it's unusual for a Rolex in that it wasn't designed for any specific purpose, as was, for example, the Submariner. The 'Datejust' is simply a solid, no-frills three-hander that can be worn casually or formally. This 'Datejust' boasts a 41mm case, unlike the significantly smaller 36mm of older 'Datejusts', and features a smooth bezel and oyster bracelet, with baton markers on a silver dial. It's also water-resistant to 100 metres. Pre-owned watches have a 24-month warranty from Watchfinder & Co. in conjunction with any remaining manufacturer's warranty.
