It took Bovet five years to finesse the Virtuoso II movement, and seven years to execute the Amadeo® convertible case, which together allow this reversible timepiece to have a coaxial display, and function also as a pocket watch and table clock. This is no mean feat, timekeeping seconds on either side with the same movement involves engineering so that the reverse counterintuitively turns clockwise, too. Housing the movement, this watch is crafted from 18-karat white gold in the 'Fleurier' silhouette, originally modelled after the heritage brand's archival pocket watches, and is hand-decorated either side with classical acanthus and traditional Swiss movement finishes. We offer a two-year warranty for all working parts and manufacturing faults for luxury watches. For more information, contact one of our experts by emailing watches@mrporter.com "
