However, despite being commissioned in the 1930s, they only went into major production in the 1990s—it's thought that fewer than 700 were sold in their first 50 years of production. Today's models have come a long way from these early years, but this glorious new faux-vintage 75th anniversary tribute to the first Portuguese watches is a true thing of beauty.
