Adidas Consortium x Social Status POD 3.1

Collaborating with Atlanta-based retailer Social Status as part of its Communitas project, adidas releases a special POD sneaker to commemorate the community efforts of the store. With a goal of youth empowerment in the creative industries, the program is a year-long effort from the German sportswear brand, pushing local communities to the fore of each new collaboration.This release sees the use of the often-overlooked POD sneaker, complete with a sock-like Primeknit upper. Finished in sleek black, the sneaker wears luxe leather and suede overlays, while a signature split midsole – complete with boost™ to the heel – delivers comfort and visual appeal in equal measures.
