Produced for Monocle by Comme des Garçons Parfum, Scent 01: Hinoki is inspired by a perfectly still spring morning at the Tawaraya ryokan in Kyoto, Japan. Named after the Japanese hinoki tub, it combines notes of moss, cedar and pine to recall the aromatic experience of the boxy wooden bath.
