Pioneered exclusively by Audemars Piguet, the forged carbon in the case is a cutting-edge lightweight, scratch-proof material made by baking carbon fibres in a special resin at incredible temperatures. This is also one of the very first watches to feature another AP innovation: “cermet”, an exceptionally durable metal-ceramic hybrid used here in the bezel, complementing the titanium crown and pushers. This very special edition is dedicated to the great Italian racing driver Jarno Trulli.
