Tod's story began when the brand's founder Mr Diego Della Valle was inspired to swap leather soles for rubber ones after seeing a cab driver in New York wearing cheap but comfortable loafers in the late 1970s. This backless pair is grounded by the brand's now signature gommino pebbles which provide great grip. They have been handmade in Italy just for us from light-blue suede and are outlined with strips of smooth navy leather.
