Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 311.30.42.30.01.003

by Omega
This special limited edition Speedmaster was made by Omega to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 15 moon mission. This was the fourth moon landing, during which astronauts David Scott and James Irwin spent several days on the surface and were the first to use the famous Lunar Roving Vehicle—all the while wearing their Speemasters. An illustration showing the astronauts in the so-called “moon buggy” is engraved prominently into the caseback on this timepiece, while the dial features a minute track and subdial decorated in red, white and blue. As well as being patriotic, these were the colours of the Apollo 15 mission patch.
This Omega has undergone a thorough inspection of accuracy, functionality and condition at our Omega certified service centre to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been checked against our records to ensure authenticity. All our watches have a 24-month warranty for your peace of mind.
