At a time of economic prosperity in America, George Nelson conceived a wide array of everyday objects to fill the homes of the newly affluent. His Wall Clocks series (1948-1960) is notable for its expansive range of timepieces, some of which have since become mid-century design icons – the Nelson fan clock being one of them. Crafted from cherry wood and with a three-dimensional tapered edge, the circular clock presents a striking silhouette.
