The PAM 022 is a wonderful example of that rare occurence in Panerai legend: the left-handed Luminor. Confusingly, Panerai calls these watches “Destro”, which is actually Italian for “right”. This is because the watch is designed to be worn on the right hand, hence placing the crown on the left. If you're not a Panerai expert, you may not immediately notice the difference, as almost all the other elements of handsome Luminor design are present and correct, such as the big cushion case, dome-like crown guards, retro dial and a gorgeous leather strap to match. It's a look that's worked well ever since the 1930s and that continues to impress to this day.
