Released in 2022 to instant acclaim, the Black Bay Pro is already one of the most in-demand Tudor models around, thanks in no small part to its close resemblance to Rolex’s Explorer II, more specifically the first-generation reference 1655 from the 1970s. Like that watch, this features a dual-time function, with the orange GMT hand reading off a 24-hour scale on the spartan, fixed steel bezel. Its vintage looks are enhanced by the 39mm case—the same size as the 1655—while the matte black dial is complemented by the classic Submariner-style indices, with a date window at 3 o’clock. It uses the same movement, the self-winding Caliber MT5652, found in the Black Bay GMT. This reference comes on a three-link steel bracelet but there is also a version that’s paired with a fabric NATO-style strap.
