New York natives Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne take on the Air-fuelled sneaker with elements of its high, mid and low editions; delivering a low-profile silhouette disguised with heavily stitched side panels for a high-top look and feel. Bringing raw edges and a makeshift finish to the hoops classic, Public School NYC see Nike’s Swoosh hanging off the sidewalls, coupled with an AF1 mid-style strap acting as a heel pull, while Air technology cushions the sneaker with the same, reliable comfort that it has done since the beginning.
