Established by the fourth and fifth generations of the Johnson Brothers family 1882 Ltd. is a design-led ceramics brand produced in Stoke on Trent – the beating heart of the UK’s pottery industry. Father and daughter duo Christopher and Emily Johnson founded the brand in 2011 to champion inventively designed ceramic products, made to bring beauty, enjoyment and functionality into your life. Max Lamb’s ‘Crockery’ tableware collection – included in the permanent collection of Arts des Decoratif at the Louvre in Paris – has been lovingly slip-cast from plaster models and carved by hand using the tools of a stone mason.
