The legendary Carrera has been a canvas for many of TAG Heuer's greatest racing watches, and this lovely Limited Edition is no exception. It's a tribute to the equally legendary Mercedes-Benz SLR 300, one of the most famous racecars in history, which first came to fame when it propelled the great Stirling Moss to victory in both the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio of 1955. One of the most interesting special edition Carreras, the watch has a striking sunburst brown dial based on the Calibre 1887 model (it also has the phenomenal 1887 movement). With the orange highlights, it's a particularly unusual but aesthetically captivating colour scheme, replicated on the strap. The dial has the old Heuer logo, while the Mercedes-Benz name appears on the caseback, along with an engraving of a classic SLR.
