Committed to telling the stories of those who exemplify a unique and fearless approach to collaboration, adidas teams up with French retailer The Next Door to offer two theatre-themed pairs. Inspired by one of the store locations – the oldest theatre in Avignon – the two pairs each pay homage to festival d’Avignon and draw on the theatrical archetypes of Comedie et Tragedie.This pair, the SC Premiere, takes inspiration from ‘Tragedie’ and utilises a minimalist white palette. Finished with a premium leather and nubuck upper, the sneaker is punctuated by hits of cardinal red – mirroring the final stage curtain – and wears printed branding to each tongue.
