The Gucci universe enters domestic space with Gucci Décor, a new collection from the iconic Italian fashion house. Continuing their exploration of the nostalgic and the contemporary, the brand applies their weird and wonderful vision to a spectrum of homeware with an otherworldly bohemian flare. The Chiavari Chair was hand crafted in Italy from hand-painted beech wood with a plush velvet seat which has been hand-embroidered with a motif of a tiger and a floral composition – a signature trope of the brand – which uses an ancient needlepoint technique for a distinct aesthetic which combines classical and contemporary styling. It features a border formed of brass pinheads which outline the cushion, all-over ridged ring detailing and a three-dimensional rear-facing Gucci branded plaque with their signature tiger head logotype in brushed brass.
