The Colt was originally made by Breitling in the 1980s, and was intended for use by the armed forces (as were its older siblings, the Navitimer and the Chronomat, incidentally). While perhaps not as famous as these other legendary timepieces, Colt watches have become some of Breitling's most popular and accessible models thanks to their great legibility and sturdiness. The case is beautifully finished—as is the textured dial—and boasts a rotating bezel on top of the 200m water resistance. The watch keeps exceptionally accurate time thanks to its superbly designed superquartz movement. It features a useful and intuitive chronograph display.
