Pilot watches date back to 1904 when Mr Louis Cartier created one for Brasilian aviator Mr Alberto Santos-Dumont to reference during flight. Named in his honour, and modelled after the original, this 33.9mm style has been manufactured in Switzerland and is powered by a calibre 430 MC hand-wound movement that's housed in a polished 18-karat rose gold case. It's fitted on a supple charcoal alligator strap and has classic house signatures, including blued-steel sword-shaped hands, a sapphire crown and eight screws surrounding the dial.
