11.11/eleven eleven - Patchwork Printed Organic Cotton Rug

11.11/eleven eleven's rug has been hand-woven in Kutch from organic Kala cotton, the fabric is native to the district in Gujarat, India and grown without fertilizers or pesticides. Inspired by American artist Mr Mark Rothko's paintings, it's printed using a traditional Ajrakh technique where wooden blocks are carved, dipped into dye and stamped onto the fabric repetitively to create distinctive patterns.
