Established by the fourth and fifth generations of the Johnson Brothers family 1882 Ltd. is a design-led ceramics brand produced in Stoke on Trent – the beating heart of the UK’s pottery industry. Max Lamb’s ‘Crockery’ tableware collection – included in the permanent collection of Arts des Decoratif at the Louvre in Paris – has been lovingly slip-cast from plaster models and carved by hand using the tools of a stone mason.
