Cottle's trousers are locally made from tsumugi silk that's traditionally spun by hand into a fine yarn. They're cut to an easy, tapered fit and strung with a comfortable elasticated waistband. Look closely and you'll see a hint of gold on the button fastening, created using a technique called kintsugi .
