Castañer's espadrilles are made in the same way they were over 90 years ago – the jute is still braided by hand and stitched on a custom-built machine. This 'Paul' pair is crafted from linen and set on hand-cut rubber soles. Loops at the heels help pull them on without creasing the backs.
