A collaboration between Japanese master of design, Yohji Yamamoto, and German sportswear legends adidas, Y-3 combine an innovative approach to materials with a reinvention of athletic staples.
Y-3 release the NOCI 0003 in a limited edition. This ultra-futuristic silhouette is inspired by the concept of space exploration on foot, with uppers consisting of breathable mesh, neoprene and leather overlays, combining to formulate exceptional comfort and fit. The sneakers are fastened by a unique lacing system and zip combination that can be secured for a snug fit or worn open, revealing an idiosyncratic mesh membrane. Utilising technology from the early 90s, the sole unit offers durability and comfort as well as a contemporary geometric aesthetic. This incredible design is finished off with multiple branding and a supple ankle support.
