Originally designed in 1976 by the legendary Mr Gérald Genta, the 'Nautilus' hasn't changed much over the years. The case is still clamped together by the pinned 'ears' on either side, which were inspired by the hinges on a porthole on a transatlantic ocean liner. It still features other beloved design traits too: the multifaceted bezel, the simple engraved dial, the integrated, tapering bracelet and a slim profile often neglected by modern designers. The 'Nautilus' is about as good as sports watches get and is a creation from one of the most renowned watchmakers in the world. As well as the striking monochrome dial, this particular model offers several handy, superb complications, including an annual calendar, moonphase and 24-hour subdial.
