IWC Portugieser Hand-Wound IW544203

by IWC
In 1868, a 27-year-old watchmaker from Boston travelled to the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland and founded one of the country's oldest and most prestigious horological firms: the International Watch Company. His name was Florentine Ariosto Jones, and his groundbreaking idea was to harness the renowned watchmaking skills of Swiss artisans in a factory using modern production methods taken from America. The fruits of this idea are still evident almost 150 years later, and the company has created this beautiful limited edition in honour of its founder. The piece is incredibly clean and elegant on its dial side, but flip it over for a stunning view of the movement.
This IWC has undergone a thorough inspection of accuracy, functionality and condition at our IWC certified service centre to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been checked against our records to ensure authenticity. All our watches have a 24-month warranty for your peace of mind.
