Vans x Purlicue Era 'Year of the Pig'

With the Chinese Lunar New Year approaching, Vans celebrate the ‘Year of the Pig’ with Chinese label Purlicue. Setting up for the occasion with the Era, Vans edit the California classic with a Chinese state of mind. Replacing its bright white midsole with a festive red, the Era gets a two-tone overhaul with marshmallow hues taking over its textured uppers. A premium suede lays over the Era’s signature canvas construction, creating a dimension finish that’s ready to celebrate come midnight. To the heel, ‘Off the Wall’ branding gets an oversized update covering the entirety of the heel, while the Era’s waffle sole is taken over by a bold ‘The Fat Year’ print – a signifier of the capsule’s ‘laid-back, not lazy’ attitude.
