Founded by Giovanni Fontana, the brand specialized in bags and luggage made from exotic materials, drawing inspiration from Fontana's bi-annual trips to Paris, France. Going down in history as an awardee of the "Compasso d’Oro” prize in 1954, Valextra's "24 Ore" bag cemented the brand's legacy as a forerunner in high quality luggage.
