The goldsmith Pino Rabolini founded Pomellato in Milan in 1967 and brought the logic of ready-to-wear to fine jewellery: seasonal collections of pieces meant to be worn every day rather than locked away. Its Nudo ring, launched in 2001, a large faceted coloured stone set simply in gold, became one of the first stackable fine-jewellery rings and the house signature. Kering has owned Pomellato since 2013.
