Paul & Shark

Paul & Shark grew out of a knitwear mill near Varese that Gian Ludovico Dini took over in 1957. In 1975 his son Paolo launched a sailing collection, naming it after the words 'Paul & Shark' painted on an old sail he had seen in a sailmaker's workshop in Maine. Sturdy wool knits, waterproof sailing jackets and the shark emblem remain the core, and the Dini family still runs the company, now led by Andrea Dini.
