Operating out of New York, bag and accessories brand KARA was founded in 2013 by Parsons alum Sarah Law. With her mother being a Caucasian artist and her father being a self-made Chinese enterpreneur, Law's mixed heritage allowed her to establish her own identity—which came to be the DNA of the brand. Celebrating individuality for each person, KARA aims to craft pieces to showcase one's uniqueness and personal style. With a sense of refinement but playful charm, the brand slowly but surely grows as a style haven for people who don't quite fit the mold and aren't afraid to express it.
