Girlfriend Collective

Ellie and Quang Dinh launched Girlfriend Collective in Seattle in 2016 by giving away leggings made from recycled plastic bottles to anyone who paid the shipping, and the offer brought in thousands of orders. The activewear is still built on recycled fibres, about 25 bottles to a pair of leggings, and the brand was among the first in its field to offer sizes up to 6XL. Leggings, sports bras, bike shorts and unitards make up the core, alongside intimates.
