Gant Rugger

Gant Rugger was the younger, more casual line of Gant, the shirtmaker Bernard Gantmacher founded in New Haven in 1949. The designer Christopher Bastin relaunched it in 2010 with pieces drawn from the company's 60-year archive, giving oxford button-downs, chinos and other Ivy League staples a rumpled, collegiate ease, and it had stores of its own. Gant folded Rugger into its main collection from spring 2019.
