Fusalp

Two tailors and keen skiers, René Veyrat and Georges Ribola, founded Fusalp on the shores of Lake Annecy in 1952; the name joins fuseau, the stretch ski trouser they refined, and Alpes. Their slim, technical skiwear dressed the French ski team and champions such as Jean-Claude Killy, and since 2014 the brand has belonged to the siblings Sophie Lacoste-Dournel and Philippe Lacoste, making skiwear and city clothes for women and men.
