Umit Benan

While Turkish menswear designer Umit Benan originally aspired to a career in filmmaking, he redirected his passion for storytelling into the fashion realm, launching his clothing line in 2009 after apprenticing under Marc Jacobs and Sophie Theallet.
With an Ottoman influence and a keen eye for masculine style, Benan believes that nobody else combines the refined fabrics of Hermès with the urban attitude of Supreme quite like him. His aim is to infuse that mindset into his work, creating pieces that are effortlessly casual, cool, and crafted from the finest materials by top manufacturers. In 2012, Umit Benan's menswear line was recognized as the top international brand in Japan, prompting the debut of his inaugural flagship store in Tokyo in 2014.
