Jerry Cohen started Ebbets Field Flannels in his Seattle apartment in 1988, with $500 from the sale of his wife's car, after a hunt for an original wool baseball jersey to wear on stage with his band led him to a warehouse of old flannel. The company remakes the caps and wool jerseys of defunct teams, from the Pacific Coast League to the Negro Leagues, beginning with the San Francisco Seals and the Seattle Rainiers, and its caps are known for their green satin undervisor.
