Canada Goose

Canada Goose was founded in Toronto in 1957 by Sam Tick as Metro Sportswear, making wool vests, raincoats and snowmobile suits. It later became Snow Goose and took the Canada Goose name in 2000. Its down-filled parkas, led by the Expedition Parka made for researchers in Antarctica, became city status symbols. Bain Capital took a majority stake in 2013, and the company listed in Toronto and New York in 2017.
