Belstaff

Eli Belovitch and his son-in-law Harry Grosberg founded Belstaff in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, in 1924, joining his surname to 'Staffordshire', and pioneered waxed cotton for motorcycle clothing. The four-pocket Trialmaster, the Roadmaster and the Racemaster became motorcycling classics, and the brand has since grown into a full wardrobe for men and women built around those jackets. Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS has owned Belstaff since 2017.
