Jewelry making, in a way, fell upon Alan Crocetti's lap by chance. During the Brazilian-born designer's final year at Central Saint Martins, Crocetti aimed to elevate jewelry from accessory to centerpiece. Opting instead to drop out, Crocetti released his final project in jewelry design to much editorial curiosity. Soon, he was asked to present at Fashion East, catching the attention of Dover Street Market, and his career promptly took off. Collaborating with industry favorites such as Berlin based streetwear brand GmbH, Crocetti's clout expanded, and more eyes turned to view his collections. Provocative and innovative, Alan Crocetti's catalogue of pieces, from his sterling silver nose plaster to bandana armbands made of gold, are rife with intrigue and worthy of conversation.
