AG Jeans

Adriano Goldschmied, the Italian often called the godfather of denim, founded AG in downtown Los Angeles in 2000 with Yul Ku, whose Koos Manufacturing made jeans for many of the era's premium labels. Goldschmied left in 2004 and the Ku family owns the company, which still designs, cuts, sews and finishes its jeans in its own Los Angeles facility, running largely on recycled water.
