ADISH

2018

Blending craft with tradition, clothing label Adish takes inspiration from its Israeli-Palestinian roots to break barriers and inspire peace and camaraderie. By using the brand name, which means "apathetic" in Hebrew, the founding circle—comprised of Israelis Amit Luzon and Eyal Eliyahu, Palestinian-American artist Jordan Nassar, and Palestinian, Ramallah-based Qussay K—had named what many Israelis felt about the occupation of Palestine, and have vowed to practice anything but. Aiming to emphasize that "there is no neutral position on the illegal occupation of Palestine," Adish's garments are made in Occupied Palestine and Israel, with the ultimate end goal of fostering peace and cooperation between the two nations.
