Majestic Filatures

Roland Chelly, the son of a tailor, founded Majestic Filatures in Paris in 1989 with a single idea: to make the T-shirt a luxury garment. The Parisian workshop produced for Sonia Rykiel and Dior before giving itself over entirely to its own label. The house designs its own yarns, and its jersey and knitwear now run from cotton and linen to wool, cashmere and viscose, for women and men.
