Dsquared2 is the Milan label of the Canadian twins Dean and Dan Caten, who grew up in Toronto, moved to Italy in 1991 and launched their menswear line in 1995. Womenswear followed in 2003. The brand mixes Canadian references, from lumberjack checks to maple leaves, with Italian tailoring, distressed denim and a camp, party-ready attitude, and has dressed performers including Madonna for tour costumes.
