Avant-garde fashion label Eckhaus Latta, the brain child of Rhode Island School of Design alums Zoe Latta and Mike Eckhaus, is a perfect coalescence of forward thinking design and technical precision. After studying textile design and sculpture respectively, Latta and Eckhaus launched their namesake brand in 2011, the brand was quickly noticed not only for its unique take on silhouettes, design execution, and fabric choices, but for their eccentric collaborations and art choices. Collaborating with a slew of various artists and using a multitude of performance styles, Eckhaus Latta is proving to not only be a fashion label, but an art movement.
